Uffmoor Woods Music Club is the recording name of Mark Cooper and Paul Baker. Regular contributors have included Adam Poole of Distant Signal and vocalist Rebecca Cox. The variety of instrumentation and musicians on these recordings gives the music a flexibility and range that would be hard to achieve with a fixed line-up. There are off-kilter instrumentals, strange acoustic fables, and pop-punk ensembles. In each track Uffmoor Woods Music Club uses the recording process as an instrument in its own right, leaving the bones of a song open to the air.
